Our story

We started because we needed this too.

KommaSpace was born from a simple realisation: loads of people want to get out more, but nobody wants to be the one to organise it. So we did.

What we believe

Showing up is the hardest part

We know. That's why our events are small (4-8 people), our hosts are warm, and you can leave whenever you want.

Nobody should eat alone (unless they want to)

Loneliness isn't a personality trait. It's a design problem. We're designing the fix.

We're not here to fix you

We're a social club, not a clinic. We just give you a reason to get dressed and leave the house.

A comma is a pause, not a full stop. Life paused for a bit. We're here to help you unpause.

Common questions

Do I need to come with someone?

Nope. Most people come solo. That's literally the point.

What if I'm awkward?

Perfect. You'll fit right in. Our hosts make sure nobody's left on the edge.

Can I just eat and leave?

Yes. No speeches, no icebreakers, no pressure. Show up, eat, talk if you want, leave when you're ready.

Is this therapy?

No. We're a social club. We help people get out more. If you need clinical support, we link to Mind and CALM.

What if I don't like it?

Then don't come back. No contract, cancel anytime. But most people come back.
